Registration Fee

• A $50.00 child registration fee is required when registering your child.

 

Prices

• Prices are subject to change.

 

Payment

• Payments are requested in the form of an e-transfer to shalomdaycare@hotmail.com by the 1st of every month.

 

Notice for withdrawal

• Two calendar month’s notice in writing is required for withdrawing a child from Shalom Daycare – otherwise, the payment for the withdrawal months is processed.

• Example: to withdraw a child in April and not have April’s payment processed, written notice must be given before February 1st.

 

Refund policy

• Shalom Daycare has no refund policy. No refunds are given on statutory/Jewish holidays or if your child is absent due to illness or holidays/vacation.

• If the teacher is sick, another teacher will be arranged.

• If care is not provided, fees will be pro-rated. A substitute will be hired during a teacher’s vacation. Normal fees will apply.

Late Payments

• Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring that all fees are paid in full by the due date.

• Fees received past the due date will be subject to a late fee of $30.00.

• If full payment is not received within one week of the due date a “Request for Payment” letter will be sent to the parent/guardian.

• If payment is not received within two days of the “Request for Payment” letter, the childcare for your child/ren will be terminated.

Late Pick-up Fee

• Parents/guardians or those picking up your child/ren are expected to arrive in enough time to speak to staff, dress your child, gather their belongings and leave the Daycare by 5:00 p.m. In the event that your child is not picked up on time, Shalom Daycare reserves the right to charge a late fee.

• This charge is currently $1/min, per child.

• Please note that picking up your child habitually late will be documented and may result in the termination of your child’s space.
